Chapter 110: Innocence Lost 2
When it comes to wickedness, who could possibly surpass Situ Tengyi?
Luo Xia knew that while this guy was easy to bully when he was in a soft mood, he was truly a man of his word once he turned stubborn.
She glanced at the bed belonging to the Pang siblings. "Can I choose one of them instead?"
Situ Tengyi shook his head, a wicked smirk curling at the corner of his lips. "Who knows if they might decide to come back in the middle of the night because they suddenly want to watch a show?"
Luo Xia fell silent.
Fine, then she would just go sleep at the cave entrance. With that thought, she stood up.
"Luoluo!"
The moment she turned to leave, Situ Tengyi’s voice turned chillingly cold. Luo Xia had never heard him speak to her in such a tone before. For a moment, she felt a surge of grievance. What was the meaning of this? Did he think she was easy to push around? Did he intend to use force the moment she stopped obeying him?
"Wuying, in your eyes, am I such a frivolous woman?" Luo Xia lifted her gaze to meet his, her clear eyes filled with obvious distress.
Situ Tengyi froze. In the depths of her expressive eyes, he saw a glimmer of hurt. He had never expected his actions to lead to such a misunderstanding.
He simply liked her so much that he wanted to hold her while he slept, alright? Besides, his bed was exceptionally soft and comfortable; he just didn't want her to suffer.
Very well, he admitted defeat.
Situ Tengyi got off the bed and walked over to Luo Xia. He noticed a hint of nervousness in her demeanor. She was afraid of him.
Situ Tengyi scooped her up in one motion.
"Wuying!" Luo Xia gritted her teeth, calling his name.
Situ Tengyi ignored her entirely. Luo Xia flailed and fought back, employing every martial technique she knew, but to the powerful Situ Tengyi, it was completely futile. He quickly carried her to the bed and pressed her down.
The entire world was suddenly engulfed in a massive shadow.
"Wuying, what do you want to do?" Luo Xia was terrified. Was this guy planning to force himself on her? If he truly intended to have his way, she would be completely helpless. She had underestimated men; once they were aroused, they were more terrifying than any other creature!
But would Wuying really treat her like this? Over the days they had spent together, she knew he was a cunning and dark-hearted man, but he had truly pampered her. She had grown a bit arrogant from his affection, forgetting that he was a dangerous individual.
Situ Tengyi took in every reaction of hers. Truth be told, he was quite wounded. After all, having given his heart for the first time, only to be met with distrust, he was genuinely crushed. Just think, who was he? He was the Prince, a man whose word was law in the Kingdom of Tianyou. When had he ever lowered himself to follow someone around, just to win a single smile or frown from them?
"Luoluo, do you really distrust me that much?" Situ Tengyi said, his voice laced with pain, before he rose from her. "Tonight, you sleep here. This is my bottom line. Luoluo, do not try to challenge me."
With those words, Situ Tengyi turned and walked out of the cave.
Luo Xia was stunned. Was he just going to leave like that? She pinched her own thigh hard. *Luo Xia, are you actually hoping he would force himself on you?*
But he seemed so heartbroken. In all the days she had known him, he had always been domineering and headstrong—when had he ever been heartbroken?
Sigh, why did she feel such a chaotic mess in her heart?
That night, Luo Xia tossed and turned, unable to find a shred of sleep. It wasn't until the sky began to brighten that she drifted into a hazy slumber.
Luo Xia didn't sleep well, and Situ Tengyi slept even worse. He sat at the mouth of the cave, meditating and cultivating for the entire night.
