Situ Tengyi was very pleased with Luoxia’s demeanor! The person he favored was truly extraordinary! If it had been any other woman, she would have been weeping and pleading for revenge. Luoxia was clearly in a league of her own.
“Wuying, if I’m not mistaken, you came this time searching for the Spirit Fruit, right?” Pang Xiaoyu asked.
Situ Tengyi had no intention of keeping it from them. “Exactly. By my calculations, the Spirit Fruit will ripen tomorrow.”
“So we have to travel through the night?” Pang Qingyu inquired.
Luoxia glanced at Situ Tengyi.
Situ Tengyi smiled. “The end of the Beast Forest isn’t so easily reached. Tonight, I think it’s best we find a place to rest well first. Luoxia, what do you think?”
Though his stamina could carry him for five days and nights without issue, Luoxia could not manage that. He had to consider her well-being.
Situ Tengyi looked at Luoxia, his eyes warm with a gentle smile.
Luoxia understood his concern. She truly didn’t want to rest; she longed to reach the edge of the Beast Forest and find the legendary Spirit Tree as soon as possible. But seeing how exhausted Wuying was for her sake, she decided to rest for the night.
Luoxia nodded. “I’ll follow your lead.”
“Good.” Situ Tengyi’s mood brightened. “If I remember right, there’s a cave ahead with plenty of firewood inside. Travelers often roast wild game there. Let’s go—”

A young man just awakening to love, when excited, could appear a bit childish—especially when he was a renowned prince!
The Pang siblings had their perception of the prince completely overturned. If they told others, who would believe it? Yet here he was, acting as immature as a child.
Situ Tengyi paid no mind to how Pang Xiaoyu and Pang Qingyu viewed him. He took Luoxia’s hand and set off.
The Pang siblings followed along. That man tossed them a cold remark, “If you want to come, go hunt some wild game.”
The Pang siblings were speechless. Well, they were following Situ Tengyi to gain some advantage, and this time they had indeed benefited. This was a promotion of sorts—they hadn’t advanced in a long while.
After a day of travel, Luoxia was utterly exhausted and famished!
Hearing there was wild game to eat, her legs felt like they could fly. In the blink of an eye, she followed Situ Tengyi into a small, hidden cave.
The cave was quite secluded, easy to miss if not paying attention.
Inside was dark, so Situ Tengyi produced a luminous pearl, instantly illuminating the entire cave as bright as daylight.
Luoxia looked at him in awe. This guy actually had such a large luminous pearl...
Her mouth watered uncontrollably.
Suddenly, a fragrant aroma wafted through the air—
Luoxia followed the scent.

Inside the cave stood a stone table, already laden with many skewers of freshly roasted meat steaming in the heat. The savory aroma made Luoxia salivate endlessly!
“Luoxia, you must be hungry, right?” Situ Tengyi asked with a smile.
Without hesitation, Luoxia lunged toward the feast—
She wasn’t just hungry; she felt she could swallow an entire elephant!
If her guess was right, this was definitely prepared by one of Situ Tengyi’s clones on his orders.
Since it was made for her, she would accept it without reservation!
Chicken wings, drumsticks, beef tendons, lamb...
All her favorites.
Luoxia grabbed several skewers in one hand, devouring them like a ravenous tiger.
Situ Tengyi chuckled softly and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the grease from her mouth. “Take it slow, don’t choke.”
Luoxia nodded as she continued to chew fiercely.
