The next morning, Li Ruo rushed to the Jianghuai City prison, accompanied by her assistant Lin Ziwen and Captain Cao. As a bodyguard, Captain Cao was deeply moved. Ye Chen, that rascal, had not only been promoted to supervisor but also received such personal care from the beautiful CEO—it was truly a life worth dying for. "Sigh, fine." Lin Ziwen nodded and turned to leave. Inside the room, only Ye Chen and Li Ruo remained. Li Ruo’s eyes welled up as she looked at Ye Chen’s short-cropped hair and prison uniform; her heart ached. Ye Chen grinned, "CEO Li, why are you crying? I’m... I’m doing just fine, aren't I?"

"You jerk!" Li Ruo threw herself into his arms, pouting, "Did you forget how you’re supposed to address me?"

Ye Chen paused, laughing awkwardly, "Hehe, how could I forget? I just wasn't sure if you were the 'daytime you' or the 'nighttime you' right now!"

"Hmph, from now on, whether it's day or night, I am your master!" Li Ruo sniffed, pouting like a little girl. Ye Chen gently pinched her delicate, smooth nose and grinned, "Little Ruo, don't worry. I'm fine in here. I have a feeling I'll be getting out soon!"

Li Ruo was startled and tried to struggle, but Ye Chen held her firmly. She could only meet his tongue, and the two became entangled. Li Ruo felt her entire body melt; the kiss was so wonderful that she wished it could last forever.

However, in Warden Dian Ling’s office, she stared wide-eyed at the monitor. She clearly saw the woman known as the beautiful CEO of Jianghuai City throwing herself into Ye Chen’s arms, the two of them locked in a kiss. It was a visual assault for Dian Ling. "The chicken leg isn't yours; I grabbed it first, so it's mine!" Prawn argued. The two of them were bickering over the soup, much to Liu Momo’s amusement.

After finally seeing Liu Momo off, Zhang Yantong arrived. What a lively day of visits. Rat and Prawn had no love for Zhang Yantong; compared to the adorable Liu Momo, they felt she was worlds apart. So, when she walked in, they huffed and left the room.

"Captain Zhang, thanks for your care!" Ye Chen chuckled.

"Don't, don't say that!" Zhang Yantong blushed, thinking of the passionate kiss she had shared with Ye Chen the other day.

"The warden is your classmate, right?" Ye Chen asked with a smile.

"Yes!" Zhang Yantong nodded and asked, "Has she come to see you?"

"Oh, yes, she has!" Ye Chen nodded, but he didn't tell her what the warden had said. He didn't know how Zhang Yantong would react, and he couldn't imagine what would happen if those two women started brawling. Zhang Yantong frowned, "She didn't say anything to you, did she?"

"No, she said you two have a pretty good relationship, and that you're best friends!" Ye Chen’s words were the complete opposite of what Dian Ling had said.

"Huh? Really?" Zhang Yantong was stunned, unable to believe that Dian Ling would say such a thing.

"Hmph, I never said any such thing!" Dian Ling’s voice drifted in. Ye Chen turned around to see Dian Ling standing there with her arms crossed, her black hair draped over her shoulders. He looked stunned, "You... you were eavesdropping the whole time?"

"That's right!" Dian Ling smiled, "And that includes watching you kiss Li Ruo!"
