Ye Chen had gotten up a little later than usual that morning. After washing up, he shaved and made himself especially presentable. He put on his supervisor’s uniform—a deep-black suit, a pair of gleaming leather shoes, and a dark-red striped tie—which made him look exceptionally handsome.
He had just driven his little Alto to the company entrance and was about to honk for someone to open the gate when Li Tieniu and a large group of men suddenly rushed over. They dragged him out of the car by force.
“Hey, hey! Tieniu, what are you doing? What are all of you doing?” Ye Chen cried out.
“You know exactly what shameful thing you’ve done, you brat!” Li Tieniu grinned and waved his hand. “Brothers, lift him up! Let’s carry him inside!”
“Up, up, up!”
Five or six security guards actually hoisted Ye Chen into the air and carried him inside as though he were a pig. He hurriedly shouted, “Li Tieniu, damn it! What are you trying to do? What have I done to wrong you?”
“You haven’t wronged me. You’ve wronged Assistant Lin!” Li Tieniu grinned. “Actually, I envy you. Assistant Lin is such a beautiful woman—what man could resist her charm? And you, you lucky bastard, got there first. I’m really envious!”

Ye Chen nearly sprayed out his breath. What the hell? When had he ever slept with Lin Ziwen? This was ridiculous!
He shouted in protest, but Li Tieniu did not listen at all. He carried Ye Chen straight into the lobby, where Xiaomei and a young girl holding a carton of milk were watching the curious spectacle.

“Ah, Ye Chen!” Xiaomei’s eyes widened as she covered her red lips. How could these security guards be so rough? They had actually carried Ye Chen inside. What were they planning to do?
“Hmph. That guy deserves it!” The young girl holding the milk carton looked at Ye Chen and grinned, seeming quite pleased.
But while the girl was still savoring her satisfaction, Ye Chen, suspended in the air, spotted her at once. He cried out, “Milking girl, save me! Save me!”

A short while later, Ye Chen was carried up to the twentieth floor and brought directly into the president’s office. Li Ruobing and Lin Ziwen were both stunned.
Li Tieniu grinned at Lin Ziwen and said, “President Li, Assistant Lin, mission accomplished. We’ll be leaving now. As for Ye Chen, deal with him however you like!”
Before leaving, Li Tieniu winked at Ye Chen and slipped a box of Indian aphrodisiac oil into his hands.
Ye Chen’s face turned black.
“Ye Chen, why are you late?” Li Ruobing asked coldly.

“I’m not late. It’s exactly nine o’clock,” Ye Chen said, glancing at his watch.
“Have you forgotten that you’re supposed to attend the board meeting today? The proposal you submitted is being discussed at the board meeting. If it passes, we can begin putting it into action.” Li Ruobing gave a cold snort. “This concerns the survival of Tianya Group, and you’re still being so careless and lazy.”
“Uh…” Ye Chen froze, then grinned. “Heh heh, I’m sorry. I… I forgot.”
“Hmph. Come with me!”
Li Ruobing shot him a cold look. She had none of the warmth she showed at night. Sometimes Ye Chen felt as though Li Ruobing had a younger sister—and that younger sister was the Li Ruobing he knew. As for this older sister, she had absolutely nothing to do with him.

The bodyguards outside the conference room opened the door for Ye Chen. He glanced at them and grinned.

“Heh heh, Big Brother, aren’t you making fun of us?” Rat and Big Shrimp forced a bitter smile. “We’d rather spend every day living that fierce, blood-pumping life of fighting and killing than enjoy a peaceful life like this.”
“Don’t worry. You’ll have it again soon.” Ye Chen grinned.
“Really?” Their eyes lit up.
“That’s right. You’ll be living that kind of life again very soon.”
