Shi Yun’s figure faltered slightly, her long, delicate eyelashes trembling.

So it was Fu Siyu.

Within a moment, she regained her composure. A hint of sarcasm curled the corners of her lips as she walked straight past the group. "I do not forgive you."

She was naturally indolent and disliked bickering with others, but that did not make her a saint with bottomless tolerance. If they dared to smash her sign, they would have to pay the price.

Shi Yun entered Mo Ru Hall, her footsteps unceasing as she headed toward the inner chamber, her entire presence radiating a chilling, keep-your-distance aloofness.

The group exchanged nervous glances, trembling with trepidation, yet they braced themselves and followed her in.

Shi Yun turned abruptly, her beautiful eyes frosty, her voice bitingly cold. "You are not welcome here. Please leave."

The young man in the lead looked distressed, his eyes reddening with such urgency that he was on the verge of tears. "Miss Shi, we have truly learned our lesson. We will never dare to do this again. Please, be merciful and spare us this once."

Shi Yun frowned slightly, about to issue another order for them to leave, when she heard a steady, powerful set of footsteps approaching from afar.

Everyone instinctively looked toward the sound.

Fu Siyu’s tall, imposing figure appeared at the entrance. Clad in a black suit that emphasized his broad shoulders and narrow waist, he exuded an overwhelming aura. Two bodyguards and his assistant, Xu, followed closely behind him.

Fu Siyu’s gaze swept indifferently over those in the room before settling on Shi Yun. His voice was deep and mellow. "I have brought them here to make amends. You decide how to deal with them."

Upon seeing Fu Siyu, the three men instantly panicked, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. "Mr... Mr. Fu."

Shi Yun took in their reactions, unable to help herself as a faint, elusive smile tugged at her lips.

Quite impressive. This display was like something out of the underworld. They were so terrified they had aged, reduced to cowering like grandsons.

Fu Siyu walked toward the tea table as if he were in his own home, pulling out a chair and sitting down with an air of relaxed authority. His long, straight legs, encased in suit trousers, were strikingly prominent.

Shi Yun shot him a glance and checked the time; the film crew would be arriving soon. She had no time to waste on them.

She looked at the anxious young men. "Ruan Tian is your idol; I can understand your desire to defend her, but that does not mean you can act recklessly and hurt others at will."

The youths lowered their heads, filled with shame. The leader spoke up again, "Miss Shi, we truly know we were wrong. We were blinded by rage and failed to consider the consequences. We are willing to take responsibility for our actions; whatever you demand, we will do our best to fulfill."

Shi Yun’s expression remained cool, her chin lifted slightly. "Very well. I can forgive you, but you must publicly apologize to me online and compensate me for my losses. Furthermore, in the future, think before you act. Do not be so blindly impulsive again."

Hearing this, the youths were overjoyed, nodding repeatedly. "Thank you, Miss Shi! Thank you, Mr. Fu! We will certainly do as you say, we certainly will!"

After they left, the air in the room grew quiet.

Shi Yun glanced at Fu Siyu, a flicker of complexity in her eyes, before she turned toward the tea cabinet. With a graceful lift of her hand, she retrieved an exquisite tea set. She delicately pinched a small amount of emerald-green tea leaves into the pot, then slowly lifted the kettle, pouring the boiling water in a steady stream.

In an instant, the fragrant steam of tea began to rise.

Fu Siyu watched her cold, beautiful profile, the corners of his mouth lifting involuntarily.

Shi Yun brought the freshly brewed tea to Fu Siyu. Lowering her gaze, she placed a cup gently before him. Fu Siyu took the cup, inhaled the fragrance, and took a small sip. His movements were relaxed and effortless.

A moment later, he raised an eyebrow, a subtle curve appearing at his lips. "Bai Hao Yin Zhen? This tea is quite good—the pekoe fragrance is pure and fresh, the taste crisp with a lingering sweetness. Yunyun, you are certainly generous."

Hearing this, Shi Yun remained expressionless and responded offhandedly, "I just grabbed it."

The curve of Fu Siyu’s lips deepened as he took another leisurely sip.

Shi Yun did not want to be indebted to him. After a moment of internal hesitation, she turned and walked quickly into the inner chamber. Before long, she returned with a delicate small brocade box. "Fu Siyu, though I don’t know why you keep helping me, I am very grateful. This is a small token of my thanks."

She held the box toward him, then added, "By the way, let me know the estimated cost of that plaque at the door, and I will pay you."

Fu Siyu’s hand, just setting down the teacup, paused in mid-air. He looked up, his cold, sharp black eyes glancing at her with a hint of imperceptible disappointment. He did not reach for the box, nor did he speak.

Shi Yun hesitated for a few seconds before explaining, "I know you don't care for such things, but I do not like to owe favors. This is a small painting I drew myself; it isn't worth much, but it is a gesture of my sincerity."

She opened the box to reveal a beautifully mounted landscape miniature, painted with fine strokes and a serene atmosphere.

Seeing the painting, a flash of pleasant surprise crossed Fu Siyu’s eyes. His long fingers immediately took the box. "I accept this gift of thanks. Let it be the return for the plaque. I’m leaving."

With that, he strode toward the exit.

"Wait," Shi Yun called out.

Fu Siyu stopped and turned back.

Shi Yun stepped forward, holding a bag containing a jacket. "Your suit from the banquet last time is still with me."

Fu Siyu glanced at the bag indifferently, shoved one hand into his pocket, and gave a light laugh. "It’s yours."

He walked away without looking back.

Shi Yun: "..."

No, what was she supposed to do with this jacket?

Shi Yun pursed her lips, thought for a moment, walked to the trash can by the door, and with a swift, decisive motion, tossed the bag inside.

Just as Fu Siyu reached his car and pulled the door open, he instinctively glanced back. He caught sight of Shi Yun’s action.

He froze in his tracks, the casual smile on his face instantly stiffening.

Very well.

Nearby, Assistant Xu witnessed this scene and panicked, his eyes darting around in alarm, his heart sinking.

Oh no! Why did he have to see this? He did not want his eyes gouged out by his boss.

Before Xu could recover, Fu Siyu was already standing in front of the trash can. Ignoring the gazes of others, he leaned down and retrieved the bag from the bin.

When Fu Siyu walked back, clutching the bag with a gloomy expression, Assistant Xu finally regained his senses.

What was happening? Could it be that because Miss Shi had worn this jacket, Mr. Fu had actually picked it back up?

Assistant Xu dared not speak, only pretending to be unbothered as he opened the car door for his boss.
