Chapter Thirty-Nine: Yuer, how much do you know about the Acacia Sect?
Lin Fan brought out all the spirit stones in his possession. He had previously obtained two thousand from the Su family treasury and nearly five thousand more from the storage bags of the Liu family head and the grand elder.
The spirit stones were piled up like a small hill, and he sat cross-legged to begin absorbing them.
Time passed slowly.
The night went by without incident.
As the sky began to brighten, the mountain of spirit stones in the room had vanished, entirely absorbed by Lin Fan.
Lin Fan slowly opened his eyes, a sharp glint flashing within them. With a thought, he opened his attribute panel.
[Name: Lin Fan]
[Remaining Lifespan: 6,885 years]
[Cultivation: Early Foundation Establishment]
[Spiritual Root: Five-Element Spiritual Root]
[Accumulated Cultivation: 186+1]
Looking at the six-thousand-plus years of lifespan on the panel, the corners of Lin Fan’s mouth curled upward. As long as he avoided danger, he could live for over six thousand years. This was, in a sense, a form of longevity.
Unlike his initial attribute panel, a new line had appeared: Accumulated Cultivation. This represented the feedback Lin Fan had received—cultivation that had not yet been refined. The numbers in this row flickered and increased slowly.
"Tap, tap..."
Footsteps sounded outside the room. Lin Fan’s divine sense swept out to find Bai Xiyue carrying a food box. He dismissed the thought, closing the attribute panel.
The door creaked open. Bai Xiyue walked in and placed the box on the table.
"Ma... Master," Bai Xiyue said, her head bowed and her voice choked with emotion. "If I hadn't been marked with a tracking restriction, I wouldn't have implicated you."
She grew increasingly self-reproachful, tears welling up in her eyes. Seeing her pitiful state, Lin Fan waved his hand. "It’s not entirely your fault."
In truth, even without Bai Xiyue, Lin Fan doubted he could have escaped. After all, Ji Qingwan was a Golden Core stage cultivator; his meager tricks were nothing before her.
He smiled, tapped the storage bag at his waist, and pushed ten bottles of Qi Condensation Pills toward her. "These are pills I obtained from the Liu family. I have no use for them; you take them."
Lin Fan had acquired a vast amount of medicine from the Liu family, and since he had no use for these, it was better to give them to Bai Xiyue. If she cultivated diligently, she could provide feedback to his own cultivation.
Bai Xiyue stared at the ten bottles of Qi Condensation Pills, completely stunned. These were Qi Condensation Pills—the primary medicine for Qi Refining stage cultivators to boost their cultivation. In a small family like the Su clan, these were incredibly precious. Not only was Lin Fan not blaming her, but he was also giving her so many pills.
Unable to hold back any longer, her tears finally spilled over. "Master, why are you so good to me? I was sent by my teacher to monitor you."
"That is all in the past. From now on, you are my handmaiden," Lin Fan said with a grin. "How can my handmaiden have such low cultivation? You must practice hard from now on!"
Although Bai Xiyue’s aptitude was lacking, as long as she had enough pills, her cultivation would surely rise. With his ability to help her break through bottlenecks, the girl had a promising future.
Bai Xiyue wiped the tears from her delicate face, silently swearing to repay Lin Fan’s kindness. "Don't worry, Master, I will work twice as hard!"
She picked up an egg, tapped it gently against the table, and meticulously peeled it. "Master, my teacher told me to prepare. In two days... we will be heading to the Hehuan Sect!" Her voice was soft and laced with nervousness.
Lin Fan gave a grunt of acknowledgment, popping a piece of meat into his mouth. He had no choice but to go to the Hehuan Sect. He might as well accept his fate. He swallowed and asked, "Little Yue, what do you know about the Hehuan Sect?"
Bai Xiyue nodded, then shook her head. "I was taken in by my teacher when I was very young and have lived in the Su family ever since. But since my teacher is a disciple of the Hehuan Sect, I have heard many things about it."
She paused, seemingly organizing her thoughts. "The Hehuan Sect is one of the top powers in the Chu Kingdom's cultivation world. There are two Nascent Soul stage ancestors in the sect. Ancestor Yunlu is even at the mid-stage of the Nascent Soul realm and is incredibly famous throughout the entire country."
A look of longing flashed in her eyes. "Aside from the Nascent Soul ancestors, there are nearly a hundred seniors at the Golden Core stage! There are thousands of Foundation Establishment disciples and over a hundred thousand Qi Refining disciples!" She counted them off on her fingers, looking very serious.
Lin Fan listened, his mind racing. Since he had to help others break through anyway, it didn't seem to matter much whether he was at the Su family or the Hehuan Sect. However, the Hehuan Sect had more experts, meaning he could help people with higher cultivation and better aptitude. This meant more feedback and faster growth for himself! At this rate, his own cultivation would skyrocket like a rocket.

Half a month later.
A vast, continuous mountain range lay across the earth like a dormant dragon. Deep within the mountains, clouds and mist swirled like thin veils, revealing glimpses of elegant pavilions and ancient architecture with upturned eaves. This was the gate of the Hehuan Sect.
An inconspicuous peak was covered by a lush bamboo forest; a breeze made the leaves rustle. Deep in this sea of bamboo stood an antique building, its flying eaves and carved beams exuding a sense of simple elegance.
In the main hall, Ji Qingwan sat on a grand chair, toying with a jade slip, her expression indifferent. Four people stood before her: one man and three women.
The man was, of course, Lin Fan. He scanned the surroundings calmly, though his heart was turbulent. He had learned on the way that Ji Qingwan had three female disciples.
The eldest, Su Xingyue, wore a red dress that looked like fire, outlining her graceful figure, her eyes and brows filled with a natural, captivating charm.
Beside her stood a woman in a plain white dress. She possessed a pure, ethereal temperament, standing there like an orchid in a deep valley, quietly blooming with her own beauty. This was Ji Qingwan's second disciple, Bai Jie.
The third disciple, Li Jiu, wore a pale yellow dress. Her appearance was beautiful, her features exquisite, and her skin as white as congealed fat. Her eyes were clear and bright, flickering with intelligence. Her gentle demeanor gave off the feeling of a friendly younger sister from next door.
The three women stood together, each unique and stunning in their own way. They were all top-tier beauties.
"This is my newly accepted disciple, Lin Fan," Ji Qingwan said. "These two are your second senior sister, Bai Jie, and your third senior sister, Li Jiu."
Lin Fan smiled. "Greetings, Senior Sisters."
Li Jiu and Bai Jie looked curiously at their new junior brother.
