Li Ya was simply too fast. Not a single person present had clearly seen what he had done.
“Who is behind this? Are you ready to tell me now?”
As he spoke, Li Ya took a step forward. The bald man and the others all retreated in unison, their eyes filled with terror as they stared at him.
They were all seasoned street fighters, yet they had never imagined that Li Ya could be so frightening the moment he struck.
The bald man could scarcely imagine how much terrifying strength it would take to crush someone’s hand bones outright.
“Damn it! How dare you attack our Fierce Tiger Gang! Take him down!”
Seeing his subordinate curled up on the ground, unable to move, the bald man gave a sweeping gesture. More than twenty brawny men charged forward, brandishing steel rods and machetes.
Li Ya merely snorted. The next moment, his figure vanished from where he stood like a ghost.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
In scarcely more than a few exchanges, all twenty-odd men were sprawled on the ground.
They lay there groaning incessantly, their agonized cries rising and falling in a terrifying chorus.
Of the more than twenty fighters, only the bald man remained standing. He clutched his machete, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.
Xiao Yudie leaned against the Maybach, her beautiful eyes wide with astonishment.
Could her young master... be Superman?
In Xiao Yudie’s eyes, the ability to bring down more than twenty armed men in an instant was something only Superman could accomplish.
“You... are you human or a ghost?!”
The bald man’s eyes were filled with terror. Li Ya’s formidable strength had completely exceeded his imagination.
More than twenty of his men had been defeated without even managing to touch the hem of Li Ya’s clothes.
“I have very little patience. I’ll ask you one more time. Who sent you here?!”
Li Ya gave a cold snort, a chill flashing through his eyes.
The overwhelming killing intent made the bald man’s legs go weak. He collapsed directly at Li Ya’s feet.
“It was... it was the Zhu family!”
“Zhu Zhiwei paid our Fierce Tiger Gang a fortune to abduct President Xiao...”
Daring not to conceal anything, the bald man immediately blurted out the whole story.
The killing intent radiating from Li Ya caused the temperature around them to plummet.
He had never expected the Zhu family to become so desperate. Fearing that the entire family would be ruined, they had actually decided to kidnap Xiao Yudie and force the Luoshen Group to back down.
“So it was Zhu Zhiwei. Looks like I didn’t kick him hard enough last time.”
Li Ya had never taken the Zhu family seriously. But since Zhu Zhiwei was determined to court death, he could not blame Li Ya for being ruthless.

“Move the road out of my way. Otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens next.”
Li Ya’s voice was ice-cold. The bald man did not dare delay for even a moment and hurriedly kicked several of his men beside him.
“Quit pretending to be dead! Didn’t you hear what this big brother said? Move the cars!”
Though the men were in such pain that they grimaced and hissed, they dared not disobey. Limping badly, they moved all the vehicles blocking the road.
Li Ya cast a cold glance over the crowd, then drove away with Xiao Yudie.
Watching him disappear into the distance, a vicious glint flashed through the bald man’s eyes. He took out his phone and made a call.
“Boss, something’s gone wrong. Xiao Yudie hired a driver from somewhere, and more than twenty of my men have all been injured...”
Li Ya drove back to the villa at Cloud Lake Garden. Xiao Yudie was still shaken, her pretty face deathly pale.
The Fierce Tiger Gang never cared about reason and had no principles whatsoever. Xiao Yudie dared not imagine what would have happened if she had fallen into their hands.
“Boss, thank goodness you were there today. Otherwise...”
Xiao Yudie spoke with gratitude, her beautiful eyes seeming to brim with spring rain and tenderness.
“I told you, you’re one of my people. You handle the company’s affairs; I’ll deal with everything else.”
Li Ya spoke indifferently.
A blush spread across Xiao Yudie’s bloodless face. She lowered her head shyly.
After returning to the villa, Li Ya noticed that she was still restless. He put on an apron and walked into the kitchen.
By the time Xiao Yudie had changed into her nightdress and come downstairs, the sound of stir-frying was already coming from the kitchen.
“Boss, why are you in the kitchen?!”
Xiao Yudie’s red lips parted in surprise, as though she had discovered a new continent.
She had never imagined that someone of Li Ya’s status would actually cook for himself.
Judging from his movements and technique, he was clearly highly skilled.
As she spoke, Xiao Yudie hurried into the kitchen, wanting to take the spatula from him.
If Li Ya had not stepped in today, the consequences would have been unimaginable. Besides, he was her employer...
“Go rest in the living room. You were frightened tonight, so I’ll make dinner.”
Without giving her a chance to argue, Li Ya pushed Xiao Yudie out of the kitchen.
“Just wait a little longer. The food will be ready soon.”
Before long, Li Ya carried six dishes out of the kitchen one after another.
“Try them and see if they suit your taste.”
Xiao Yudie picked up a piece of braised fish and put it into her mouth. Her eyes immediately lit up.

“This is delicious! Boss, your cooking is incredible!”
Xiao Yudie had never expected that this distinguished young heir would possess culinary skills even better than hers.
Her heart pounded faster and faster, and she found her young master increasingly mysterious.
He clearly came from an extraordinarily prominent family, yet he lacked the arrogance of someone in a position of power.
His martial arts were comparable to those of the masters in action films, and now even his cooking was exceptional.
Xiao Yudie could not imagine how happy the woman who married Li Ya would be.
Faced with her praise, Li Ya merely smiled faintly.
Over the years, he had always been the one caring for Su Yunjin. He had long since developed excellent culinary skills and had even obtained a first-level chef’s certificate.
“Boss, what should we do about the Zhu family? Should we call the police?”
Xiao Yudie clenched her small fists, her face full of indignation.
“Not for now. I’ll deal with the Zhu family myself.”
A cold glint flashed through Li Ya’s eyes. He intended to deal not only with the Zhu family, but with the Fierce Tiger Gang as well.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Just then, the villa’s doorbell suddenly rang.
Li Ya and Xiao Yudie both froze, unable to guess who would come to the door at this hour.
Puzzled, Xiao Yudie opened the door. Outside stood an elderly man with slightly graying hair and gold-rimmed glasses.
“May I ask who you are?”
“Hello. I’m the butler of the Ruan family villa at Number Six. Is Mr. Li at home?”
Hearing the exchange outside, Li Ya raised an eyebrow. In the next instant, he flashed to the front door.
He noticed a trace of anxiety between the old man’s brows. Something must have happened concerning the dark aura he had seen earlier through the Eye of the Heavenly Dragon.
“Has something happened at Old Master Ruan’s residence?”
Seeing how young Li Ya was, the butler could not help showing a trace of suspicion.
“You’re Mr. Li?”
“Something strange has indeed happened at the villa tonight...”
