With this group of demon god generals now at his disposal, Li Mingxing saw no need to inquire about the other divine favors bestowed by Di Jun. Instead, he summoned the generals and sent them into the Di Jun Temple to test their combat prowess.

After bringing them aside for a detailed inspection, Li Mingxing realized that these demon god generals were not much different from the fixed-type troops he usually employed. They were standardized in every way, all belonging to the Flame Legion—one of the four original armies of Di Jun: Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire. Their abilities were uniform; they wielded spears and possessed what would, by Li Mingxing’s current standards, be classified as Level 5 Spear Mastery.

Beyond that, they possessed other skills, such as Level 4 Military Command. While not as miraculous as true Leadership, it allowed nearby troops to follow some of their orders and provided a boost to morale. They also held Level 4 Life Burning and Level 4 Shield of Flame, the fundamental guarantees that allowed them to fight to the death. With these, they could take on ten opponents at once or even hold their own against much stronger enemies.

What excited Li Mingxing most was that, as units originating from this world, they could manifest into reality in ethereal form. This ensured that Li Mingxing would not be left without forces when operating in the real world. With such troops, he naturally wanted to handle matters outside, starting with the members of the Yin Fu Sect who were blocking the entrance to his residential complex. If he could plunder some of the sect’s secret manuals, it would significantly improve the defense and spiritual energy accumulation of his estate.

However, upon returning to the real world, Li Mingxing found the streets in a state of panic. Zheng, who had been by his side, looked puzzled. She stopped a passerby and asked, "What is happening? Why is everyone running?"

"Miss, please, let me go. Haven't you heard? A group of people came from Egypt and are killing people outside the city. Even the police are no match for them. They say the military has been called in, but who knows if they'll slaughter their way into the city? Better to find somewhere to hide!" the passerby replied hurriedly.

Hearing this, the expressions of both Li Mingxing and Zheng shifted. Anyone coming from Egypt was surely a trainee hero from the Light Alliance, and their target was undoubtedly the Sphinx. But how had they tracked him here? A thought flashed through Li Mingxing’s mind, and Zheng turned to him, saying, "It was Castro."

Li Mingxing nodded; that was the only possibility. He wasn't omnipotent, and he couldn't erase every impression Castro had of him. He had used a fake identity when meeting him, and even the identity he used to leave the country was forged. He realized the only lead these people had was the fact that he was a Chinese passenger who had been vacationing in Europe and had left Egypt on the same flight, combined with his distinct aura of imperial authority.

Using these clues, they had tracked him to this city. Unfortunately, there was another entity with an imperial aura already residing here. They had attacked without fully investigating the situation, triggering a chaotic clash.

Realizing this, Li Mingxing turned to Zheng. "How about it? Do you want to come watch the show? If you do, you’d better wear something to hide your identity, or I’ll take Aisha instead."

Zheng pinched his arm hard. "You flirtatious man, I knew you had your eye on Aisha. No way, I’m coming. Go get me something to wear."

Li Mingxing chuckled as he activated a concealment spell, wrapping both himself and Zheng in a shroud of black mist.

When they arrived at the mysterious villa, Aisha was already waiting. With her presence, the three of them were virtually invisible in the nearby woods, yet they had a clear view of the scene. Li Mingxing noticed something unexpected: while the Egyptian mercenaries were relentlessly attacking the villa, the local police and military had no intention of intervening.

A thought struck him, causing a cold sweat to break out. He had previously eliminated a follower whose master also lived in this city. He had come here believing there was only one enemy, a situation he could easily handle with his current forces. But if there were two enemies—and one of them held a position of power within the city—his situation was no longer stable. He also worried that his forceful seizure of the residential complex might have already exposed his existence.

Seeing him sweat, Zheng pulled him into her arms. "Don't worry. With me here, you won't come to any harm."

Aisha watched this with a strange expression. She quietly stepped back and reinforced the group's defenses without alerting them. Encouraged by Zheng, Li Mingxing regained his focus. He would not let these trainee heroes operate under his nose. He intended to use this opportunity to eliminate both the Light Alliance trainee hero and his follower.

"Aisha," he said, "go and summon the entire Forest Nymph Legion. I want to set a trap in these woods to kill our enemies." He didn't need to say more; he knew Aisha’s wisdom and strength would ensure everything was handled perfectly.

After Aisha departed, Zheng tugged at his sleeve. "Are we really going to do this? Those are police and soldiers out there."

"I know what you're worried about, but if we don't eliminate that trainee hero, we won't be able to live in this city. This is our chance." He pointed to the Egyptian mercenaries. "Their forced entry has already drawn the military's attention. It's likely suppressed only because of the influence behind that trainee hero. If we kill him, and given the mysterious background of this villa, they won't be able to cover it up. All the blame will fall on the trainee hero. Otherwise, once he takes this villa and realizes the situation, he’ll come into the city to hunt us down. We won't find a better opportunity than this."

Li Mingxing scanned the battlefield, searching for the two trainee heroes. Since they lacked obvious markers and were adept at hiding, he could only guess their identities based on the command structure. As he waited for Aisha, he managed to identify the commander of the Egyptian mercenaries, but the entity from within the city remained elusive.

He began to wonder if the second hero had even arrived, but he quickly dismissed the thought; such a major event would surely draw them out. Hesitating for a moment, he told Aisha, "Find a way to lure them out."

Aisha said nothing, retreating with the Forest Nymphs. Shortly after, a large group of wild boars charged out of the nearby woods. On the surface, they appeared to be attacking the Egyptians, but their trajectory shifted toward the positions held by the police and the military.

Among the ranks of the police and soldiers, a man of about twenty-four watched the chaos with cold, detached eyes. Despite wearing a police uniform, his presence was strange—it was as if those around him could not see him at all. Observing the path of the boars, the man leaned over to a commanding officer and whispered a few words. The officer immediately began directing his troops to prepare an attack against the incoming herd.
