Ye Feng found the three demons in the mountain cave, but he was alone and knew that fighting them head-on would put him at a disadvantage. Therefore, he devised a plan to divide and conquer, taking them down one by one.

No sooner thought than done!

He picked up a stone from the ground, gathered his mind power, and flicked it lightly with his finger.

With a sharp whistle, the stone shot out like a bullet!

A cracking sound echoed as the stone struck a rock and clattered away into the distance.

"Who goes there?!"

Inside the hut, the three were startled. First to leap out was a burly man, over ten feet tall, gripping his right arm. His face was round but his head tapered, his complexion iron-gray, and his small, darting eyes never ceased their restless movement. On his forehead, the character for "king" gleamed with a dark, ghostly luster.

Seeing no one outside, he immediately rushed toward the source of the stone's noise.

"Big Brother, what's wrong?!"

Another figure emerged, clad all in black. His face was as dark as his clothes, so much so that he looked like a lump of charcoal. His shoulder was tightly bandaged. Though not as robust as the first, he sported a pair of antlers, leopard-like eyes, a lion's nose, a flowing beard, and a bloody maw with protruding fangs—a fearsome sight.

Ye Feng darted out and turned to flee!

"So it's you, boy! You're the one who shot Grandpa with an arrow! Don’t run!" The man recognized Ye Feng at once, his eyes blazing red as he gave chase, vanishing into the dark after him.

"Come back! Come back! Beware, it's a trick to lure us away!"

With that shout, a limping woman in red appeared at the entrance. She, too, had antlers, but her face was as lovely as a peach blossom and her movements were shy and coy, charming to the extreme.

Finding herself alone, panic seized her. She cried out urgently, but the two were already out of sight.

She had barely managed a few cries when suddenly a stern voice sounded:

"Fiend, stop your wailing! This day you will pay with your life!"

Terrified, the woman spun around and saw Ye Feng.

His face was clouded and grim, iron palms glinting as he advanced step by step.

The woman's beautiful face paled as she retreated, but then her expression shifted, and a seductive smile bloomed.

"Young Master Ye, so you are Ye Mo! Truly handsome—enough to make a woman swoon!"

Instead of backing away, she pressed forward, her delicate fingers reaching to caress Ye Feng’s face.

Never had Ye Feng encountered such an assault; his face flushed crimson and he hastily raised his hand to block her touch.

But in that moment, she breathed a fragrant mist toward him, which threatened to befuddle his senses.

Fortunately, Ye Feng had taken the "Ninefold Pure Jade Dew Pill" and was immune to all poisons!

He shook his head, instantly clearing his mind.

Fury rose in him, and he shouted, "Wicked creature! You dare use your tricks again!"

He gathered all his energy into his right palm and struck fiercely at the woman’s chest.

A piercing scream rang out.

The woman fell, transforming into a red dragon that writhed for a moment before becoming a seven-foot-long treasured sword.

The blade glowed fiery red, as though ablaze. Its hilt, half a foot in length, was wrapped in finely tanned black leather. The contrast of red and black made it even more striking. Embedded in the sword’s eye was a sapphire the size of a broad bean.

Altogether, the sword appeared dignified and beautiful, exuding a faintly feminine fragrance.

Ye Feng picked up the weapon and flicked the blade with his finger. A clear, lingering note rang out, faintly echoing with a dragon’s roar.

He swung it twice; the cave filled with waves of red light, dazzlingly beautiful.

Delighted, Ye Feng examined the sword and saw two characters engraved on its face: "Red Sleeve."

He hurried inside, found some cotton cloth, and carefully wrapped the treasured sword. As he stepped out, he came face to face with the iron-faced, round-headed giant.

The man was taken aback. Looking around and not seeing the woman, he demanded, "What did you do with my third sister?"

His gaze then locked on the sword in Ye Feng’s hand.

With a furious cry, he nearly spat blood in rage.

"Give me back my sister’s life!"

He released his right arm, clenched his left hand into a fist, and shouted, "Give me your life!"

He hurled himself at Ye Feng, murder in his eyes.

Ye Feng did not panic; he sidestepped behind the man and jabbed the sword hilt into the man’s waist.

A cry of pain erupted as the blow landed true, and the brute staggered back, grimacing in agony.

"Surrender! I won’t kill you; just come and answer to the villagers!" Ye Feng looked at him with disdain, his tone icy.

The man grew even more enraged, snarling, "Never!"

He tore off the bandage from his right arm and, heedless of pain, charged again, swinging his left fist.

Ye Feng saw the man was fighting mad, completely reckless. Calmly, he summoned his mind power, making his movements even more agile, dodging each attack.

Waiting until his foe was panting with exhaustion, Ye Feng laughed. "Fiend, have you exhausted all your tricks? Now it’s my turn!"

With a flourish, he pointed the sword hilt at the man, feinting left and right, moving so fast and striking so hard that the giant could only cover his head and howl in disarray.

Had Ye Feng used the blade rather than the hilt, the brute would have already met his end.

Just as Ye Feng was about to subdue the man, a loud shout rang out: "Big Brother, don’t fear, your younger brother is here to help!"

With those words, the antlered, black-clad man with leopard eyes and a lion’s nose sprang into view.

He had been chasing Ye Feng’s double, but after a fruitless pursuit, realized he’d been tricked and hurried back.

"Second Brother, he killed our third sister. Her true form is in his hand!"

The iron-faced man was in agony, rubbing his wounds and hissing through clenched teeth, but still managed to complain.

With this reminder, the younger brother noticed the sword in Ye Feng’s grasp.

"You brat, I’ll fight you to the death!"

Enraged, he curved his hands into claws, fingernails instantly extending over a foot, shining with a cold, deadly light.

Ye Feng knew that with both of them together, capturing them alive was impossible.

He cursed, "Fiends!"

With a flick of the sword, the wrapping flew away, revealing the fiery blade. Coldly, he declared, "If you wish to die, I, Ye Feng, will grant your wish!"

He lunged forward with blinding speed.

The man, seeing the ferocity of the attack, hurried to parry with his claws.

A thunderous clang echoed through the cave, sparks flying.

A sharp pain shot through the man’s fingers, as if they might break. Unable to withstand the force, he stumbled back a dozen steps.

Seeing his brother in danger, the iron-faced giant lowered his head and charged at Ye Feng like a wild beast.

Ye Feng, wary of the man’s brute strength, dodged aside, then swung his sword backhanded.

A loud rip; the giant’s shirt split open, revealing layers of scales beneath.

"Today, this will not end between us!" the man roared in fury, tearing his shirt to shreds and baring his chest as he charged again.

Ye Feng ducked at precisely the right moment, avoiding the blow. With a forceful jab of his right elbow, he struck the man’s back.

The brute crashed to the ground in a heap.

"Big Brother, are you alright?!" called the other, seeing his brother fall.

"Still able to fight!" groaned the iron-faced man from the ground, and his brother, reassured, glared at Ye Feng with bloodshot eyes. "You have some skill, boy!"

He slashed his claws through the air, sending out a cold, whistling wind and a storm of deadly gleams.

"Take my claws!"

With a roar, he launched another assault.

Ye Feng only smiled, his long sword swirling, weaving a myriad of blossoms in the air, encasing his foes within their dazzling petals.

It was no longer possible for them to escape.

Clangs and rings echoed endlessly, until at last a cry of "Hit!"

With a wet sound, the sword pierced the black-clad man’s chest.

He cried out, falling flat on his back, blood streaming from his ten fingers as they remained outstretched in the air.

The body trembled, then reverted to its true form: a black dragon.

In an instant, it ceased to struggle and transformed into a seven-foot treasured sword.

"Brother!"

The iron-faced giant’s eyes turned red with grief and fury as he shouted, heartbroken.

He looked back at Ye Feng, pointing a trembling finger and swearing through gritted teeth, "Ye Feng, I lack the strength to kill you now, but in the next life I’ll seek vengeance!"

With those words, he steeled his heart, turned, and with a leap, hurled himself headfirst into the stone wall.

A tremendous crash resounded as the brute smashed a large hole in the rock, transforming into a giant python. The serpent convulsed a few times before lying dead, turning into a long spear.

Ye Feng stepped forward, seized the spear’s tail, and tried to pull it out. To his surprise, he couldn’t budge it.

Startled, he gripped the shaft with both hands, leaned back, and summoned all his mind power.

With a great effort, he heard a loud rip—the spear finally moved!

Elated, Ye Feng braced his feet and pulled with all his might.

With a series of ripping sounds, he drew out the spear—over thirteen feet long.

At last, with a heavy thud, the spearhead came free of the stone wall.

It was truly a magnificent weapon—almost seventeen feet long, as thick as a bowl, forged from refined steel and gold. The spearhead was four feet long and razor-sharp, its inner core streaked with lines of crimson. The tassel was blood-red, the tip a deep blue-violet, and the shaft bore two lines of eleven bold characters: "The Hegemon’s Divine Spear, weight seven hundred and thirty-four pounds."

"A fine spear! A fine spear! A fine spear!" Ye Feng could not contain his joy, exclaiming three times.

He hefted the divine spear, feeling its tremendous weight. On a whim, he began to brandish it.

As he swung, the cave was filled with dazzling light. The whistle of the spear was like the roar of tigers and the cry of dragons.

Only the shadow of the spear could be seen, not the man wielding it.

Lost in the exhilaration, Ye Feng was suddenly startled by a loud voice: "Excellent spear technique!"

His heart leapt—who could be in this deep mountain cave? Could another demon have come?

He quickly halted, searching for the source of the voice, and suddenly realized—it was him!
